It takes ten times as long to put yourself back together as it does to fall apart.

“Think my name’s funny, do you? No need to ask yours. Red hair… and a hand-me-down robe. You must be a Weasley.”

As time went on, Peeta still wore the locket around his neck. The years continued, and Peeta replaced the pictures of Prim and Katniss’s mother with two pictures of his gorgeous children. Yet, two pictures remained the same over the years. The picture of his dear Katniss Everdeen, and the other of a brave man. One day, Peeta and Katniss’s daughter opened her Dad’s locket and laid her eyes on the unknown man. The man has dark brown messy hair and complementing olive skin. In the picture, the man smiled while he help up a dead squirrel and a weapon in his opposing hand. Peeta’s daughter, sitting in her father’s lap, gave a small gasp and looked at him in the eye. “Who is this Daddy?” Peeta’s eye twinkled as if he waited a lifetime to answer this question. Peeta sat there for a second to choose his words correctly. “This is the bravest and strongest man alive.” He began to answer, “He saved my life ages ago, and helped me garentee our family’s safety. Thanks to him, we have you.” Peeta and Katniss’s daughter absorbed the information. “What is his name, Daddy?” She asked. Peeta took in two deep breaths. It has been decades since this name has come from his mouth. “Gale.” Peeta said, “Gale Hawthorne.”

Why that does not change my feelings for him? I find it so fake. :S

2. Whilst the sharp shooters were on their mission, Coin was searching through a stack of documents on her desk. She found the task quite boring until she stumbled across some sketches with a note attached. The note read; “Property of Gale Hawthorne”. She was smart enough to guess that these papers had landed on her desk by mistake; but in no way was she going to turn a blind eye to them. She revised the plans, for some form of death trap, and decided that this would win the war for the rebels. Meanwhile in the capitol, Gale was caught up in the fighting. He was beginning to give up hope; the capitol’s forces were strong. Suddenly, a chain of hover crafts appeared overhead and opened their cargo doors. One by one, little silver parachutes landed on the floor. Gale knew much too well that these were not just parachutes bearing gifts; they were his own creation. His brain stopped thinking and he found himself frantically searching for Katniss. But when he found her shouting out Prim’s name; he realised that it was too late. He wanted to tell her that it wasn’t his fault, that this wasn’t his idea. But then the bombs went off and that is all he could remember.
